About makeBIMI
makeBIMI is a browser-based converter and validator that turns an existing logo into the SVG Tiny Portable/Secure (RFC 9345) format required for Brand Indicators for Message Identification. It pulls a logo from the sender's domain or accepts PNG, JPG, SVG and WEBP uploads, strips non-compliant XML, enforces a 1:1 aspect ratio, applies a solid background and outputs a strict W3C-compliant file for Gmail, Apple Mail, Yahoo Mail and Fastmail. A companion audit checks whether the domain's DMARC policy is at quarantine or reject and whether a default._bimi DNS record exists, then generates the BIMI TXT record and a VMC readiness report for certificate applications. Conversion, auditing and record generation require no account, with self-hosted and enterprise deployments offered on request. The tool is available in 22 languages and hosted on Infomaniak infrastructure in Geneva, Switzerland; its raster-to-Tiny-P/S pipeline and hand-off to sister service veriBIMI for certificate brokerage set it apart from lookup-only BIMI checkers.
