Mesh is an email security platform built exclusively for managed service providers, founded in Dublin, Ireland in 2020 and acquired by Bitdefender in July 2025, under which it continues as a standalone product and as Bitdefender Extended Email Security for MSPs. It ships in three forms: Mesh Gateway, an MX-based secure email gateway for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Exchange with SPF, DKIM and DMARC verification, sandboxing and URL protection; Mesh 365, an API-based Microsoft 365 integration installed in minutes with no DNS or mail-flow changes; and Mesh Unified, which combines both for pre- and post-delivery protection. Coverage spans phishing, business email compromise, CEO and payment fraud, brand and display-name impersonation, ransomware and malware, with warning banners and a monitor-only evaluation mode. A multi-tenant console lets MSPs search and remediate across every client, with license sync to ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA and Kaseya BMS. Mesh holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications. Not related to Mesh Security Inc. (mesh.security).
