Scaleway is a French cloud computing and web hosting company that provides physical dedicated servers and cloud computing architectures. As the second largest hosting company in France as of 2015, it offers a range of services including bare metal, compute, network, storage & database, containers, AI and machine learning. Its focus on data sovereignty and open, independent technology appeals to European customers. Founded by Xavier Niel in 1999, Scaleway is a majority-owned subsidiary of the Iliad group.
